Diss Christmas Lights Switch-On

Diss Town Council have arranged this event which promises to be an evening of fun and music for everyone.   Entertainment starts from 5pm at the Market Place and around the Town Centre.   There will be performances by Jack Frost the juggling statue, Bruce Airhead the disappearing Santa and music by the Red Hot Santas.   For more traditional tastes, the Salvation Army Band will be playing Carols and there will be a performance by the Hoxon Hundred Morris Dancers.   The lights will be switched on at 6.30 pm and shops in the Town Centre will be staying open for late-night shopping.   Get Christmas off to a good start - visit Diss for a 'free', fun-packed event!   For more details contact Diss Town Council on 01379 643848, email: towncouncil@diss.gov.uk , website: www.diss.gov.uk .
